:cry My 1987 Coupe cannot be taken out on a rainy day. The weatherstripping is in a sorry state. I checked a couple of catalogs and a GM parts dealer in the area and the weatherstripping is outrageously expensive. What I need is the w/stripping for the windshield pillar, the rear pillar and both sides of the targa top. Any ideas where they sell them at a reasonable price? :(

I realize it's pricey but in the long run I would go with OEM product and pay a few bucks more. Do it once and do it right. You won't regret it.

w-strip

Alfonso, I agree with c4. I replaced all my strip on my 92 coupe with OEM. I could'nt be happier!! Except for the fact my wallet is a tad lighter. It's the way to go. IMHO. Good Luck! John

try jc whitney. there weather stripping is backed by a good gaurantee and its half the price of gm.

Instead of paying for way over priced weatherstripping go to
www.1aautomotive.com I bought from them my new carpet and weatherstripping , both items were a breeze to install....works great...no leaks on the top...windows or the rear hatch for a fraction of the cost. Instead of the 1000 to 750 for the stuff from GM I paid 350....that was 9 months ago...still happy with no leaks.
