Heads are 80-86 small block (305) heads. Do a google search on the number...lots on them.

If you can give us the casting number and date of the block, it wil narrow things down considerably.

Are you sure the last three letters are OHZ? I can't find any suffix code that matches.

Chevrolet never used any suffix starting with "O"; it's probably "CHZ", which was a '75 Corvette 165hp L-48 350 for California, and the VIN derivative confirms that. #18907 was built on March 17th, which works with the March 3rd engine assembly date. The 2801 heads, however, are from a passenger car 305, and they were never used on a Corvette.

Thanks everyone for the responce.That's what I was told that the motor was.75 Vette with 305 heads that had been machined with bigger valves.So all is confirmed now.This is a motor that I was thinking of putting into my 72 Skylark 350.Possibly with tpi.I'm hoping it is a straight bolt in swap.Again thanks much!
