85 early model vette with overdrive on console not shifter button.
I need the reverse lockout rod in shifter does anyone know where I can find this?
also the shifter knob.
also does anyone know how to shut off the security system so I don't have to use it?
last but not least........1986 to 1989 some vettes were painted medium blue metallic
and I can't find the paint code on any chips,maybe one of you have it,if so could you tell me what it is,I'm repainting again.

If you're talking about your VATS system, you can buy a bypass from Mid-America or others places. They make a straight bypass or also a switchable bypass that allows you to turn on the security system when the need arises.

You'll need to go to a dealer or somewhere to find how many ohms the resister in your key is.

I had to buy a whole shifter ($300.00) to get the rverse lockout mechanism, and afterword someone sent me this address http://www.corvetteclinicinc.com/c4solutions.html and I could have saved $250.00. Good luck!

If you have a multi-meter or an ohm meter, you can find the resistance value of the resister in your key yourself.
