I am hoping someone can help me. My turn signals suddenly went out today (both right and left). I replaced the fuse; and flasher but that did not do the trick. I have hazard flashers that work on both sides. All light bulbs are good. Now, when I turn on the left or right side blinker the blinker light on the dash comes on very slowly.....makes a few "blinker" sounds from the flasher.......then stops blinking. I am wondering if maybe the turn signal switch in the steering column is the culprit. The wiring on the car is good. Any help at all would be appreciated. Electrical issues are not my strong point. Thanks!

This may be a stupid question, but which flasher did you replace, the one under the passenger side dash panel (blinker), or the one at the fuse box (hazard)? The same thing happened to mine, and it was the passsenger side flasher that fixed it.

:duh Duuuhhhhhhhh. Not a stupid question at all Dave. I didn't realize there was a separate flasher under the passenger side dash panel on my Vette. Thanks for the info and to the other board members that posted regarding this in previous posts. I am happy to report that I did find the flasher unit by the passenger kick panel; replaced the plastic flasher unit with a new one; and my turn signal problem was fixed! I am so happy that it wasn't anything serious, and am now on my way out to get a Corvette Shop Manual ASAP!

Don't you just love a happy, inexpensive ending? :D Thanks to this forum, I've had quite a few so far!
