Help w/ TCS C1286 code

Got this current code this weekend on my DIC
C1286 Steering sensor bias malfunction
steering/lateral accelerometer sensor bias malfunction
Whats wrong and what should I look for. The car rides fine.

We would need to know if you have active handling or not, because the code diagnosis is different for both.
And the year of your vehicle please?

My car is a 2000 targa. I dont have active handleing, I do have traction control.

Had same thing. Steering sensor replace Part $150 labor $150.

Bummer but cured problem.

DJonesBy anychance do you remember which sensor it was? A part # would be great!! If I can get the sensor I should be able to swap it myself.
