Help with Audio Replacement in C4 --Thanks

I am considering replacing the stock system in my C4 (1988 coupe) with a Jensen system with motorized (flip out) screen (VM9512 7-Inch Motorized Touch-Screen Multimedia Receiver). The installer is not certain if the system will fit for two reasons: 1) depth of dash space for installation of the new unit and 2) room for screen to extend (stick shift may be in the way). Does anyone know if this system is compatible with the C4? Thanks so much!
Also, what size speakers are needed to replace the BOSE speakers?
I plan on installing Infinity speakers, but the installer says there is a specific condition/issue with replacing the BOSE -- speaker size may not be exact. Can anyone help with information? Thanks

Having just done this with my '84, it was quite the project. The Blose is unique and mounting adapters/enclosures had to be fabricated; not your average shop's field of expertise. That said,. many have done this project If you search this and that other forum for posts.

Also, I am less that thrilled with the Infinity References I employ, despite having their subs in my killer home system.
