My car is a 92 coupe. I just recently had my CD player repaired by Dr. Dons. It's the Bose Gold CD Player with cassete. I had to send it back to them again because the cd's were skipping while playing. They acknowledged that the pickup was weak and replaced it. It did cost me another $20 to send it back to them. Now I have it back and the cd's play ok except for static that is noticeable while the cd is playing. The am/fm plays fine with no static. I called Dr. Dons and they said it could be a bad ground comming from the wiring harness. They said they have seen this problem before. They are going to send me a new wire harness to see if it fixes the problem.
Anyone else with a similar experience?

I took the cover off underneath the glove box to expose the radio controller. I see the wiring harness's that are plugged into it. The problem is, I can't see any way to pull the harness out from behind the radio and out from the dash where it's connected at the radio controller. I don't want to disassemble the entie dash. I removed the glove box too but no way to access it from there with all of the plastic duct. Any help would be appreciated. I've been trying to get it to work right for the last 6 weeks.

Thanks,
Dave
