help with the hardtop

I thought I would put the hardtop on yesterday, but I have a problem. When I put the back bolts through, there is no room to get my hands behind the seats to put the nuts on underneath. Is there a secret trick to this? Any help would be great. Thanks.

The two rearmost bolts securing the hardtop on a '62 screw into anchor nuts (aka barrel nuts) that are attached to the soft top lid. So you don't need to get your hand underneath to tighten the bolts. Corvette Central part # 431008.

Thanks Charles. This must have been a Bubba resto, because mine just have regular bolts that slide through the brackets and fiberglass with nuts holding them from the inside. I got this 62 last summer and never attempted to put on the hardtop until yesterday.I'll check out corvette central.
