Interesting article. Knowing one of his old crew chiefs and what he's talked about, it seems like Junior is still just a good old boy in Hendrick's corporate world. Still don't see a good fit.

Had Speed on the other day and they were showing an old Richmond race from 5-6 years ago. All they talked about was Junior during the race and now you hardly ever hear his name mentioned.

I've always thought no matter how you felt about Sr. it was hard not to like Jr. He's also shown in the past that he can drive and win at that level. Now that being said, when you change everything but the driver and things havn't improved, whats that leave?

I think Jr has too many side jobs that don't involve racing.
