Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Here is a picture of my BIG MOUTH !!!!

i installed one on my 87 coupe. nicely made but had to alter it a little to make it fit.

worth the $$

Paul

uuhhh, given cost vs. benefit, i wouldn't get all tnat excited about it

that may be true. but it is actually very well made. there are alot of aftermarket products for corvettes that are not only totally useless but cheaply made and expensive to boot.

With all do respect your comment is extermly shallow in scoop !

At what cost would one need to go through to enhance your cooling system ?

:)
nothing personal of course :) cost? about $10-$20, for a low temp fan switch. clean the radiator if necessary. the fan switch will make a huge difference. super cheap. this is about all you should need for a C4. i do admit however that the thing you're peddling looks pretty cool.

This is true , but the fan has no effect on anything else ! It doesn't increase the CFM into the radiator area and has Zero esthetic value . With the Big Mouth Air Dam you enchance the hole system in one easy install , ram air , cooling, recovery, trans coolers, any other add on as well . Plus you don't need to replace your center spoiler from damage any more , you can trim and no scraping. plus its well made and powder coated !

So, I think you need to look at the whole picture to create value ?

:)
the Big Mouth Air Dam has zero fail rate its always working for you !

Test results and a right up by Tuna Sport , " What is a Big Mouth Air Dam " ! take a look :D

I am sending the decal with a scratch gaurd for your Air Dam ! I moved and finally settled in ! I will send an email to you.:)

Didn't happen, I think it's Eric(?). Customer care is lacking at best, and frankly I don't think there is any real benifit from the product after several months of trying to find one. The BM is nicely crafted and finished, but provides no benefit IMHO accept possible asthetics, and customer service promised is non existant. Sorry dood, but that's my experience :(

I was VERY hesitant to order the product initially do to the lack of R&D proven results. I was convinced otherwise after a long conversation with Eric on my dime and payed full price.

If I had been treated properly as a customer or even been used for testing at a reduced price, I probably would not be posting this. But, the fact is my experience is, that I have not been dealt with appropriately, and the product did not perform as advertised.

I would not recommend the BM for other than asthetic purposes.

Read the whole thread folks ;) And all the others you can find on this product :)
