Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Hey

Good choice, my first one was my 85 with the Nash tranny, I love it even though 4+3 gets a bad rap I haven't had any trouble with it during my 50k miles I put on it, also love driving my 96 CE LT1 but not quite as much fun as shifting the gears.

very nice

B17, gmhowe, thank you, you guys have great cars and I am surprised at how many of you have more than one Corvette. I work for a classic/specialty car reseller and we sell a lot of C-4's. gmhowe, we sold a '96 CE a while back (cant remember how much but can look it up) that had about 100k on it. Most of the C-4's that come through are 92-96 automatics.

Seems the LT4's sell more quickly then the LT1's, I guess they are like me and love the shifting, not too much fun here though when driving north out of Phoenix heading to Sedona or Flagstaff with all the ups and downs and curves in the mountains. But normal driving it can't be beat.

'96 C-4's

Well, my opnion is the 1996's are the most developed C-4's. The problem is a manual transmission was not availible with the LT1. So, the most desireable C-4 with the most developed mouse up to that point and with a 6 speed manual to boot? . . . a '96 CE LT4 is not just a great/rare find, it is also the best of breed. A non-GS LT4 is the best C-4 period.
