Hi Beams Problem

When my low beams are on my hi beams have a yellow glow to them like there getting some power ? Like a dimmely lite candle when I turn them on there plenty bright .
why the yellow glow ?

Check the harness connectors and the connectors on the back of the headlights for corrosion; the two wires (tan for low beams and light green for high beams) are in adjacent cavities in the multiple connector on the engine side of the fuse block, and the low beam terminal could be feeding partial current to the high beam terminal if the area is melted or corroded. Could also be those two wires being pinched together somewhere between the dash and the headlights.
