Hi peoples!

Looking forward to participating in this group.

The '60 has been mine my whole life (dad bought new) but I didn't take posession 'til he passed away in '99. He had a '63 SWC at the same time (sold the wrong one??). Doing the same with my son who is now 2 1/2.

The '96 LT4 Collector Edition has 23K pampered miles and to my surprise no rattles or squeaks. This one belongs to my daughter age 3 weeks.

That LT4 ROCKS!! 6-speed is noisy though !!

Welcome toneron!

Welcome to Corvette Action Center.

Welcome to CAC....

you may lower the noise by changing tranny fluid to synthetic... it won't work miracles, but it is better for the tranny, and reduces heat.

Welcome!

Welcome to the CAC, toneron. The CAC is a great place for questions and answers.

At 41,000 miles my LT4 is pretty much rattle squeak free too except for the coldest winter mornings!

Thanks - I changed to synth before I put it in storage last month. You're right, it did make a slight difference.

Synth got me 3 MPG on my daily driver (Prizm w/140K)!

Love the Torch Red interior!! Mine's grey which was my 3rd choice.:eyerole

Been trying to find "seat savers" for those CE seats, but all that I've found in the "big 3" catalogs say "not for sport seats".:hb

I have been trying to find them myself... no one seems to make them for the sport seats for some reason... I actually bought the ones for standard seats for my '87 (had sport seats) and they fit well, but it just seems hard to get any kind of cloth to stay really well over leather so I want to get a really good fitting set so they don't come off.

Yo.....Tony? Welcome, glad to have you!:w :w :w

I know where you live...........I am in W. Mich. and my six speed is real quiet........How's everything on Silver Lake??

Silver Lake is awesome (in the Summer!) My buddy lives on that lake and has a big-block powered Sea Ray that is a blast to tube behind!

So, what's the secret to the quiet 6 speed?:BOW

Honestly I can't tell you.......mine's never been noisy........and I have a Sea Ray...........w/a couple of big blks.........6.2's.......not only can you tube behind it.......you could hang glide if you had a notion.............:Roll :Roll :Roll :Roll :Roll
