high beam indicator and passenger light

My high beam indicator will not go off and the passenger light is dim. Both of these started at the same time. Any ideas?

The lights were switching from high to low, but the indicator was staying on. However the passenger low beam was very dim. Got back in the car later and the passenger low beam was back to reguar and the indicator was working correctly. Do the High / Low and Left / Right headlights ground sepreate?

Sounds like a bad ground for the passenger light or possible bad bulb with internal short. Try unpluging the passenger bulb if the hi beam indicator goes off check the bulb and the ground.
