High performance coil

What is the better type of H.P. coil to have? One that mounts on the distributor, or one that mounts to the firewall?

I don't think it makes much of a difference. I think the power it puts out is more important than where it mounts. If they both put out the same power, then electrically speaking, the shorter path will have less resistance. I think others may have more insight though.

i put an accel h.e.i. on my 350 and i could tell a heck of a difference. was well worth the money
