I recently drove a 95 LT1 coupe, auto trans with 67500 miles. The car has a harsh vibration just before it shifts at WOT from first to second. It does rev out to slightly below the indicated red line before shifting. The vibration seems to feel like its coming from the front of the car.
The transmission was rebuilt a few years ago and other wise shifts normally. The engine doesn’t loose power and the indicated oil pressure reads normal. There is no vibration below about 5700 rpm. Its not very bad but definitely noticeable.
Any ideas what could cause this?
