Hit 1000 on rebuilt motor

Well like the title says I finally hit 1000 miles on the rebuilt motor, which seem to take forever to say the least... I changed oil, and hopefully (knock on wood) am done with this whole terrible ordeal :( .
 
Too bad the weather hasn't been cooperating so you can drive more!

I agree with Spanish, time to take her out and flog her.:L
 
You may want to re-torque the heads and headers before you flog her. Couldn't hurt. Good luck... let us know how she holds up! It's supposed to clear up for tomorrow... might be your only chance this week.
 
I was told by a mech that bolts should be torque three times after the initial set-up. Is this true or myth? Big Block is correct, it would not hurt to double check on them:w

I havne't though of going through and making sure nothing is loose. I will have to check that before I really lay into her. I drove it a little this weekend, and I am glad since we got about 4 inches of snow, followed by a ton of rain...
