what do you guys do when your interior pieces screw holes wear out ? I think I read someone used J&b Is it not to hard to rescrew or is in a good fix? My Center console is hard to line everything up Holes worn out

I have used the JB Weld with some success. I fill the hole with it. Wait to dry. Fit the part. Then drill and tap a hole. There are two types of JB Weld one that sets up in an hour & one that sets up in 24 hours. I have used the quick set up type. I also used a tooth pick to apply.

The small-size plastic drywall screw anchors with the flange on the end also work very well in wallowed-out holes for trim screws. For larger holes, Corvette Central sells a kit of steel repair plates with two pre-punched holes that you attach with pop rivets, then drill a fresh hole of the proper size in the plate at the screw location.
