Hood clearance?

Just wonder if anyone has put edelbrock preformer rpm on a 66 big block? Wonder if it will clear the hood. Thanks Brent

Don't know if it'll work for your 66, but I know of one 67 big block that used an Edelbrock Air Gap Performer with a Demon carb and Stock air cleaner...it all fit just fine.

Brent, I have a Edelbrock torker ( 1970 era ) and a 850 Holley on my 66 BB. I believe the Edelbrock Preformer is very similar to the Torker. That is , height wise. They both fit under the hood fine -- you do have a stinger hood ? More important is the right air cleaner. Be sure the air cleaner base is recessed to fit around the carb. Steve
