Everytime, i have the pleasure of hitting the smallest bump in the road my horn button makes a irritating jingling noise. Anyone know if it's a missing or wornout part? Or should i just put a piece of adhesive foam under there or something.

Thanks!!
Chad

I had the same problem on my 68... even when I turn the wheel it went off. I ended up replacing the guts out of it. It's really a very simple job and the parts are available from everyone at a good price... well accept Ecklers! LOL!

I had the three nylon rivets come apart, causing the ring to rattle and short now and then. Rather than order $2 worth of rivets with $9 worth of shipping, I took three nylon golf tees, melted a "head" on the end of each snipped off staff, pushed it through the temporarily clamped parts, and melted another "head" on the other side. Perfect.
