Help! Horn button removal

Hey first let me say thank you to all that read this. I am trying to fix my turn signal switch on my 79. Im stuck at the horn switch. I know sounds easy but I'm scared to death that ill break it. So please if you can give me some pointers it eould be greatly appreciated.

the horn button,(cover)just pull it off...
there is a paper by jim shea,perhaps this will help..

If you want to get to the turn signal switch then the horn button is the easiest thing to do. So don't give up we're here to help you. Jim really is the master in steeringcolumn stuff!

Thanks Peter. Iwas reading over the paper and I see he says to pry the button off am I reading the correctly?

You can remove it with your fingers. Move your fingers around the button and try to get under it. Its as easy it is!
