I am new to corvette ownership and big known have a 92 corvette LT-1 Manual.
and had thought I found one

But now their throwing out ZR1 option and a few other options.

I'm just trying to find a refurbished transmission for it, mine is going out.

You need an early style, ZF S6-40 six-speed for an LT1.

I have one for sale. Used, clean and in good operating condition. 40K miles. No broken/welded ears.

$1900 plus shipping and handing.

Interested?

That's about the price I got for another one online, but free shipping and a 1 year warranty.

Plus it's refurbished, just not looking to spend over $2000 on the transmission.

I've been burnt before on a transmission, and I can't afford for it to happen again.

Put it in and it was worse then my original.

If you can get a "refurbished" ZF S6-40 with free shipping and a one-year warranty for 1900, you'd better get it now while the goings good. That's a hell of a price.

That's what I thought! But I have to save up for that.
I work 2 jobs just to pay rent.
