How Do You Put The Top Down

Stupid question, where are the levers to pop the top and the boot to put the convertible top down? I'm on the phone and not with the car and the guy is asking me. This is a 96 ragtop.

under the deck, behind the drivers seat.... there is a pull lever to pop the back of the top up, and a push button to open the lid

there are other push buttons in the center console and drivers door jam

the pull lever is black plastic... it shouldn't be hard to find when looking under the deck.

On our 87' there is a lever between the seats under the deck lid with back-up at both locking pins by the shoulder harness. Not sure if the same location on the 96. Just a note that when ever we put ours down we have always set a soft towel on the window and this is why ours looks so great after all the years. wro87

the pull lever is black, depending on year, it pulls or goes side to side... it shouldn't be hard to find when looking under the deck regardless.
