How many callaway's in Germany?

That's a good question Rob, Callaway cars has a dealer/distributor over in Germany - maybe you could swing by there????


The car to have is #89-010 but that is in the UK. (top speed 216 mph)

I believe this car is currently for sale for £39,995! It was recntly in a magazine and the digits were 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, 11.87@127mph in the 1/4 and a top speed of 215mph.

Very nice car, i like the differend aero nose, but i've the strong urge to change the european callaway taillights in normal ones...
Just my opinion.

[offtopic] Btw. anybody know's why there only one callaway like this? I mean different air intake (or is it excaust?) and the different nose? Because the Slegde has a "normal" aero nose as far as i see...

The nose is similar to the lipstick colored Callaway Super speedster which also features a set of front intercoolers - that is the reason for the larger openings up front and the nostrils on the hood itself

This car, and the lipstick one were done in the early 90's (TT # 89-010 went back for more thrust) while the Sledgehammer was done in the late 80's and quite possibly, R&D showed benefits to the openings - Note - the Sledge did have 2 large openings in the hood - they are just more subtle than on the others mentioned here.

I know there is 1 TT for sale in Germany!.
I think you can find it on mobile.de. I friend of mine bought a 2nd hand c5 there and saw the Callaway. It's a normale TT without the nostrile's on the hood. For the rest i don't know there is also a big Corvette forum in Germany maybe you can ask there. There is also a big corvette meeting in Idstein i thought maybe some guy's saw one over there?...

Here in Holland there a aroud 1560 vette's total (we can find it on the site of the goverment) Since a view month's i know there's also a Callaway. I never saw it but it's a (Silver of something) Aero from a American about 25 minutes away from me
I haven't seen it yet, but i'm intending to offcourse
I'll post a pic off the German TT when i've found it.....

Idstein is June 7th and 8th!!! I should be there with GS #340 and I've been told that I might be the only Grand sport there. Idstein is supposed to be the largest corvette show in Europe from what I was told.

If I see any Euro Callaways I'll make sure to take tons of pics for you guys.
