How Many Model Years Will The C6 Be In Production?

Let's get real!!!!

The C6 is here to stay at least as long as it makes economic sense. This has nothing to do with anything as long as the vette sells and they make money. Also the vette has a draw appeal for Chevrolet in their showrooms.

Nothing is going to change for at least 3 yrs and the hp will remain the same maybe a 10-15 hp increase or losing some weight.

Marketing that's the only important thing in Detroit.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a significant Hp gain for the base C-6

I wouldn't say a significant, but like Alan said, it would probably be a few here and there. I could also see minor suspension revisions for a better ride.

Unless they totally redesigned the motor, I wouldn't forsee a significant increase. Just look at the evolution:

crossfire to L98
L98 to LT1
LT1 to LS1
LS1 to LS2

And that doesn't even include the LT4, LT5 and LS6 motors...

And I thought you were sleeping!

You were lurking about and l didn't see you.

p.s. Must run CSI Las Vegas is starting.

Specks

Hi C6 Dawg,
Merry Christmas. Have a concern about my new week old C6. She's got about 250 miles on her and this morning I noticed tiny oil specks all over the back of the car, tag, etc. What does this mean for me? I hope it's just part of the break in period.

I would apreciate any thoughts you have.

My C6 had black specks on the sides, not the back. They came from that tire black *(&I$&&(&*& stuff. I can't see how it would get to the rear of the car, however. I'm no help!
Hey big Al...suggestion:...sell your Vette(its a fossil anyway:D ) and go back to your Jag and entertainment center/dealership...

I would rather sit in a bucket of wheelbearing grease and watch kids crap all over the floors at a dealership waiting for my Corvette to be worked on than own a gaguar and sit in an entertainment center hobnobbing with the so called elite:L :L :L
Way to put it...BLUNT! I'm laughing my ass off reading this, in total agreement. Corvette is a performance car, a rip roaring torque monster that begs to be driven! Jaguar is refined and luxurious... it's a prudish car, for stuffy sophisticated types! That's what makes the World go round, different people, desiring different lifestyles. Corvettes kick ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
