When changing the oil and filter in a LS3; how many qts of oil should I put in?

The number of quarts depends on several things. If you have a wet sump system, it is 5.5 or 6 quarts (with filter) depending on whether or not your car is equipped with Z51 handling package, the extra half quart is for the oil cooler that the Z51 package has. If you have a dry sump system it requires 10.5 quarts to change. So we need more information to give you an accurate answer.
