How many starter bolts?

Looks like my starter and engine block could use 3 bolts to attach the starter, but my 69 350 currently only has two bolts. Am I missing a bolt, or is this correct? Also my starter is missing the starter brace and heat shield. My car has Hooker headers-- does anyone know if either of these components would have been removed because of clearance problems with the headers? Otherwise I think I'll at least get a brace to support the starter. Thanks for any info.

My 75 350 has 2 bolts to attach the starter, which I think is typical of chevy SB 350s....

Two mount bolts is correct, although there ARE three holes. I doubt the heat shield and brace would be affected by headers; they fit in pretty tight to the starter.

There are two different 2-bolt starter attaching patterns, and many blocks are drilled for both patterns (3 holes); only two bolts are used to attach the starter.
