Well I called today to see how much insurance would be on a 96 LT4 I plan on getting. They want $750 a year full coverage (Liberty Mutual) I think that is high. I am 29 married 1 child 0 tickets 0 accidents I live In New Hampshire this will be a third car that I only drive 3 to 4 thousand miles per year. Does anyone have any Ideas on where I can get a better rate?

Mine is insured for $35K, at $~275.00/mo:confused .

I pay $50.00 per month on each 89 with $100.00 dollar deductable full coverage from April 1st till November 1st with State Farm

I pay $270/6months on my 94 Shelter Insurance.

I'm only paying about $450 a year on mine. Heck the insurance for the Harley is more than my Z. I have my house and cars through Nationwide.

It all depends where ya live, more populated area/ higher the premium will be, I will be paying $745/6months,(94 vette) just for my vette, and I have had a clear record and am 42 and family and with multiple vehicle and Home owners insurance discount,Kinda high hey, well thats because nobody knows how to drive here in Vegas.

I live in PA., Insured through Safeco..pay $75.00 a month to insure 2 vettes, one a 76 and the other a 79 valued both at a total of $35,000.00

I'm 25 and single and pay $1200.00 a year. That's worth the price to drive a Corvette anyday....

Hell Yes!! I pay $107.03 a month just for Comp and Coll. on my 03 Z-51. My liability is covered under my Garage Keeper's and Open Lot policy with my Dealer plates!! That runs about $1900.a year, for 4 Dealer plates and 6 Transporter plates!!:cool junk!!

if i had a garage i would go with Grundy!! you tell them what you want your vette to be insured for and thats what your cost is based on. but got to be able to keep it in the garage?? crap!!

Anyone have a classic insurer that will cover me if I let my 22 year old son drive the vettes?

Mike

The amount they quoted you sounds high.

I pay $224 every 6 months for my LT4 (Nationwide). I drop comprehensive in the winter months. Zero accidents and zero speeding tickets. If I carry comprehensive year round, my amount owed for the year is about $580.00. Try getting a quote from Nationwide for a comparison.

My vette is a company car and it's registered out of our Hooksett NH office. We pay about $800 per year with a $2000 deductable ,State Farm. Same policy in Maine is $1400. Your Registration cost is also lower in NH. LIVE FREE OR DIE !

If you list the Vette as a show car & stay under 5000/ yr.
Go to Leland west in calif.
There are some restrictions, Got my 92 @ $340.0 ? year.
