from bone stock rating of 240 chp and 340 ctq. when i dynoed the car it pulled 240 at the wheels and over 350 tq. whats this mean? at 20% loss from crank to rwhp it made 48 more hp and 70 more lbs of torque than a stock 87 that dynoes in the 200 hp range at the wheels from what i hear. don't know about torque on a stock L98 at the wheels.

with alot of homework and alot of tuning it can be done! feel free to debate this as you wish.

i'm still not done. crank pulley, AIR pump delete pulley, MAT relocation, and chip. what will the new #'s be? sad thing is i dynoed the car real HOT at 220 degrees and my egr tube blew out. i'm sure it would of pulled more HP and TQ if i could of dynoed in race temp conditions. 130-140 water temp. this would of added about 20 more rwhp as it showed in timeslips. i hot lapped the car and the first run it ran a 13.19 the hot lap was a 13.35 which at 1 tenth in the 1/4 makes 10 rwhp this is very on track for what it should be doing i think.

i think the car has 12.5's in it in the fall :D we shall see!

You shouldve had about 205-210 and around 300-310rwtq bone stock

20% is too high, even for the A4, its more like 17-18%

There is some variance between different chassis dyno's, Mustang and dynojet give very different numbers and any 2 of either will give different numbers, but its the track ETs that tell the truth.

i figured with the half shafts probably slightly higher parasitic drag than 17 or 18%. still though, with the little mods i did worked :)

car ran 13.18 @ 105.84 spinning half way thru 1st gear and pulling 1.85 short times. last year with out the headers my best time was 13.26 @ 103 mph in 45 degree weather. DA was -1500 DA with the headers was 500+ and 65+ degrees. with the other bolt on's i want to do and some of that killer negative DA i think the car will run the #'s.

we shall see in october :D
