Question: How much is my old 'Vette worth?

1987 C4, 2door Coupe, Hatchback, 5.7L V8 TBI. Many new parts like linkage, u-joints, serpentine belt, a/c unit; but needs motor/trans. rebuild, paint job and upholstery redone. Has 190K miles. Where's the best place to try to sell it?

If it really needs a motor, trans and interior, you'll be fortunate to get more than salvage value. If someone rebuilt the drivetrain and replaced the interior, he or she might be upside down at current prices.

I agree with catbert...unfortunately, your '87 isn't worth much, if anything at all. The miles are a huge negative, and the fact that it needs so much work make it virtually unsaleable. I don't know what salvage value is for it, but maybe you could sell for parts??
