Cuvette,
A rapidly flashing turn signal typically means you have a burned out turn signal bulb. Check out THIS THREAD.

That is most definately a good thread.

C4C5specialist just did this for me at CruiseFest. Too bad you weren't there cuvette, he could have taken care of both of us. :D

The bulb he used is Sylvania 3157NALL/4157NALL. He was able to reach in under the headlight (that's not him ;LOL ;LOL ) but the other method as indicated in the thread. Jack the car, turn the wheel as far as you can, then remove the small panel behind the air-dam and reach up into the opening.

If you try to go down under the headlamp, make sure you have it locked open and the wire disconnected. It woud be a major bummer to get your arm caught!

Good luck.

I recently replaced both front daytime running lamps / turn signal / parking light bulbs in my 1999 C5 coupe that burned out.

The GM bulb part #12450182 - it is a special bulb with a special base that takes the extra heat of the daytime running lamp feature.

Good luck.

I replaced both a running lamp and all 4 headlamps by opening the hood, manually raising the light (ask, if you do not know how), removing the bezel for the headlamps, and reaching in to the confined space. I have large arms, so I have to remove the hood support bolt. It is the one with rubber on top, just to the inside of the headlamp. You can loosen the nut on the bottom just enough so that you can unscrew the whole bolt, being careful not to move the nut. You will see what I mean. When you replace it, tighten the bolt finger tight, then tighten the nut. It will be very close to where it was before you took it out. That seems easier to me than removing close-out panels.

maybe someone can give me instructions as to how to remove the entire front passenger turn signal light? It has a broken bulb in there and i want to remove it. Does this require removal of the entire front bumper?

That photo brings back painful memories! Do NOT attempt that maneuver without first seeking professional advice :L

With small hands, it's easier to go in through the brake duct opening after pushing the brake duct hose down and out of the way. The tricky part is to find the aft-side push-clip release for the bulb mount so you can rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise and get it out of the housing. Having done this 3 times in the last 6 months, I've gotten it down to about a 15 minute operation with no lifts needed and no access panel removal, just a lot of patience.
