Is there a way to repair the rocking seats in my 97 vette or will I have to purchase new ones?

Anyone advise?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks

Thanks c4c5, That was what I was thinking. Just making sure...

the memory model seat rack will cost about $800, I got one last year-now its tight.

Does this just replace the rack? How hard was the replacement?

I had it done at the dealer, I have an extended warranty I bought so it did not cost me anything-I had to leave it over night, it must have taken a long time.

Wow.....

Both my passanger and driver seats both rock. I guess I will just keep on rockin till for a while.... I was hoping a little welding, a bracket or two, oh well..

Thanks.....

Mike

I am a big guy, so my seat is all the way down and all the way back. With the seatback tilted back slightly, the seat seems firmly pushed against the structure behind the seat. Would putting the seat in this position help, at least on the passenger side?

What part breaks?

So, what is the part that breaks? Is it plastic?

Seats rocked in my 90....all it was loose mounting bolts. Now if I can fix the rest of the problems that cheap!
