Thanks for posting this. Good information. The only thing I see wrong is that it actually requires your Corvette to have paint on it. Maybe someday.

Picky, picky.........:)


Truth be told, the only difference in any approach to waxing, polishing, or the correction of the surface in any vehicle is the type of surface you are dealing with. The compound/product used to accomplish these individual tasks could care less if there is fiberglass or metal under the surface. A clear coat surface is corrected, polished, and waxed or sealed with products and labor designed for that application. A lacquer finish needs to have the same tasks accomplished in a different manner since it is a softer finish. Remember, you will be working on the "surface" of the vehicle (clearcoat, lacquer, etc) and not the structure under it (fiberglass, metal, etc).
