Hello All,

I am in the beginning stages of restoring my 1969 convertible Vette, and I already need help!

Does anyone know how to remove the interior door latch/lever? The driver's side latch is snapped off (I have to use the exterior door latch to open the door).

I removed the door panel, and examined what's left of the lever. There's a screw that appears to secure the lever. I removed it, but the lever won't come loose.... it's also held to the housing by a pin that goes through the pivoting area. This pin is looks to be permanent piece. I am not sure if the end of the pin needs to be grinded out to replace.
Any help at is appreciated. Thanks!

If I understand you correct it's only the lever that has fall off. The lever fits into two grooves and is fastened with a small screw from the front. You don't have to remove the door panel to change it.
