You will very likely have a snow packed road anywhere near Tahoe. Reno may be possible (it is close to 5000 ft elevation), but Tahoe in a Corvette is just a bad idea in winter. The snow can be ten feet deep up there. I would not go to Tahoe without AWD and chains in the trunk.
