Question: I checkech out a C& Corvette at the dealer yesterday..A clear plastic roof top

I checked out the new C7 Corvette at the dealer yesterday. Is it just me, or is anyone elsE horrified about the clear targa roof top being a flexible clear plastic. I asked the salsmen about that and they gave me that glossed over eyes look and no answer. Someone tell me I made a mistake please! I pressed my finger uppward inside the cockpit and it flexed upward. Anyone else dismayed about this or is it just me. So disapointing...and those rear tail lights...Oooof! i DON'T KNOW IT i WILL EVER GET USED TO THEM. Still it is a beautifful car.:eyerole

How flexible do you mean?
Like a Tupperware top or a water bottle? :ugh

I just picked up my new C7 about a week-and-half ago with the 2 top package. One that matches the cyber gray metallic of the car and the other a smoked glass (some sort of synthetic glass). Are you sure this was not just a shipping film or something without the top on? The transparent top on mine is probably about 1/4" thick and tinted.
