LT4 I did it. Made a deal on a LT-4

:thumbCongrats on your new toy, great car......................billy

Outstanding that the dealer stepped up. So uncommon in todays world of absolutely no customer service. Also stresses the advantage of working with an owner. Good for you !!! That is not an inexpensive repair.

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose an LT4 for a drag car over a LS engined C5. Definate buyers market either way.

Hey LT4CE..................... We live pretty close. Are you a member of the Santa Clara Corvette Club? If so, as a fellow LT4 owner, let me know
your thoughts on being a member.

The main reason is I wanted something different (& Faster than our LT1!) and not so common, I was considering a 95 ZR-1, but after much research, I just did not want to deal with the cost of parts and difficulty in getting parts. I thought of a C5, but for some reason, their looks don't float my boat like the C4's, and my wife has a Black C4, and it just seemed to work, we now have "His & Her's", "Black & White", like so many loving couples are :D hehehehehe. With a gear change, slicks, Big Air & a dyno tune, I should be right at 12 flat 1/4 or even lower (I hope). That plus the legendary reliability & consistency of a LT4 made my decison easy. Thanx for asking. :w
