I already did the job worked great very happy with the sound I got for a 5 dollar tail pipe from pep boys . where the pipes go into the muffler we cut a hole in the front pipe then where it comes out we cut a hole in the botton welded the new pipe in between . then did it to the other side makes it more throater when you step on it But I would love to run it without them all together sounded like a nascar when we started it up without the pipes on WOW ...but mechanic said it wouldnt pass inspection lol

um i was working on my c5 hello?

and i have seen under my c5 its pretty cool i had other vettes as well i love them all and wont go busting on anyones vette they all r sweet . and the c5's are pretty easy to work on ill never get rid of her shes my baby and i never saw and older vette do 174 stock but the curves and styling of the c4 and c3 i had were sweet in there own rights so i have nothing bad to say about ANY vettes

Unless you have something constuctive to add to this discussion....I suggest you keep your negative comments to yourself. If you don't like C5 Corvettes, fine. There is no need to flaunt it all over the place.

Not at all. I don't appreciate the bashing of members based upon the generation of Corvette they choose to own. I admire the solid axle Corvettes, but I'm not overly fond of them. They just don't do the same thing for me that a more recent generation Corvette does.

However, I wouldn't go around posting replies to a solid axle owner asking them why they want something in particular as it relates to their Corvette because their particular generation of Corvette is ugly.

For the record, this has already been determined in another thread that the is C5 Chick's son who played a practical joke on her.
