Congtates on the birthday. I've got 3 yrs for mine and I'll do it to the state of WA for ever. No more fees WAHOOO

Just for Grins, check and see if your state has "Year of Manufacture" plates. I got a plate on fleabay for my 69 and gave the state $25. No more inspections, no more trips to the DMV for that one. Did the same for the 77. And the added benefit of having the year displayed on the plate!

This is listed on the link I posted->
Option to use restored license plates

You may use a restored license plate on your collector vehicle instead of a collector vehicle license plate. A restored license plate is a Washington-issued license plate that was designed for use in the year of the vehicle’s manufacture. The license plate must be restored to a condition that allows it to be identified with its year of issue. A reproduction of the original cannot be used as a restored license plate.

Same here. Found 79 MD State tags and registered them for $25. All done!

The plate I am currently using is one that was used in 79 for my state. Purchased them off of eBay and legally tagged my car with them which reflects the date and time period. What is a state collectors plate?
