I had an idle problem after coming up to operating temp. I have made several inquires about a fix, all included cleaning the IAC. I finally got around to cleaning the TB (used TB cleaner and 20 q-tips). I never thought that cleaning the TB would fix the problem until now. Thanks for the advice, I should have tried earlier.
While I am on this topic, I had similar problem on my Ford Explorer. The vehicle would miss every once in awhile. I did a search before spending $$$$$ on an ignition module. My fix was cleaning the mass air flow sensor. After removing a plate (needed security torx bits), sprayed the pl wire and very carefully wiped it down with a q-tip.
It is amazing how critical air intake parts are with FI. Again thanks for all the help.
