Ign coil wires, which is which?

I have a non HEI didtributor its from a z28 1986-ish. The distributor has two plugs, one is a four prong that goes to the harness, the other is a 2 wire pink and white that I assume is for the POS & NEG on the coil. Atleast I hope so, because I'd like to use this distributor and I'd like to just twist on the white and pink wires right to the coil and GO!! Any idea which is the POS and which is the NEG? Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe the white and pink wires plug into something else that eventually makes it's way around to the coil. Any idea? BTW not going on a C4, just a TPI unit that I'm putting on one of my 4x4's.

pink goes to coil Pos
white to coil Neg
Power source goes to coil Pos
Tacho wire goes to coil neg

cool, So All I have to do is run white to NEG, Pink to POS and 12 volt power from the key to POS coil terminal? Easy enough thanx
