My 90 has no acc. position. The key will turn backwards but nothing lights up. I am assuming this is the ign. switch but don't know where to find it so I can check it. Can my loose steering column be the cause of this like it is to my highbeam switch. I am planning on going into the column this weekend to fix the loose bolts/pins and want to know if I should do the switch while I am there or if it is farther down the column and can be done at a later date or maybe I'm lucky and tightening up the column will fix my ign., highbeams, and loose wheel all at the same time? Wouldn't that be something...

Key/Switch location

Your 'key' is just a locking device that moves a rod inside the column. The 'switch' or electrical part is on top of the column under the dash. If you remove the plastic cover that is normally above your feet you can get access. It is possible to remove one without dropping the whole column, but it is tight! It is held to the column by two small bolts. The rod running from the 'key' just fits inside and the switch will come off the rod when the two bolts are removed.

One warning. The big, bright yellow wire runs to the air bag. Don't mess with it (unless you remove the air bag fuse first)

Thanks, I will disconnect bat. for about half hour before I do anything. The last thing I need is having that air bag inflate on me. I lay awake at night sometimes thinking about that airbag lurking in my steering wheel. I almost kinda wish they never started using those. But I guess they are priceless in a situation.
