just installed my new throttle body. everything went in fine but, when i hooked up the throttle cable the thottle does not close all the way. i idle at 1200 rpm. when i removed the cable the throttle snaps shut like its supposed to. does the cable need adjusting? what am i missing?

is the screw "stop" turned in too far :confused - take a look there - if not???????

Is it binding anywhere? You state that the throttle blades close to the idle stop with the cable off right? There is no adjustment that I am aware of, so I think it must be binding somewhere. The new TB would not make any difference when it comes to throttle cable lengths.

i fixed it. i did a little fabricating with the bracket that holds the cable and its all good. dont ask me to explain. thanks for your replies.
