I'm new, my name is Roy Van Nostrand ...RVN, Houston, TX

Just maybe I'm one of the reasons the forum hit a new high! I look forward to being a part of the community at CAC. I've perused the forums and found CAC, the most comprehensive, informative and helpful.

I bought a 2002 black on black ZO6 last July. My first Corvette! Exhilarating! I've owned the "poor man's corvettes" over the years, a 1977 silver Camaro (my first new car), a 1977 gold Camaro, a 1984 black H.O. Z28, a 1994 black Z28 w/6 spd. LT1 ...my favorite! And a 2002 black Z28 LS1 which my wife sold out of spite when I bought the ZO6. So, the ZO6 is my DD. Thirteen miles to and thirteen miles from work everyday.

I don't belong to any clubs ...yet. And I'm chagrined to have all the usual welcome and congrats posts, but I look forward to them as part of the induction process.
