In Need of Q-Jet Throttle Linkage Closeups

Hi All,

I did finally locate the nearly impossible-to-find GF-432 fuel filter! It was shipped yesterday, so hopefully I will get this Q-Jet installed soon.

One minor problem, I can't remember out how the accelerator cable hooks up to the Q-Jet throttle linkage. It's currently set up for the Edelbrock - using a ball-stud connected to a socket on the accelerator cable.

If anyone has any closeup photos of this setup that they can share with me, I would be grateful.

Thank you.

Ralph

I got some cool pics from DarkShark this morning that shows that the 1980 used a different configuration - a pin with a clip instead of the ball/socket mechanism.

I just home from the Leon Redbone show (at the Birchmere in VA)... went in the garage and voila! the existing socket snapped into place with the 1980 carburetor, so this maaay work out without any mods!.... (fingers crossed).

I also have some of the set up on my 76 Q jet so if you need those let me know.
