Hi Soggy,

I'm not that far from you. I'm in Manchester.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the specifics behind why they moved and changed their name. I believe the full name used to be "Lussier's Corvette City."

I do remember articles in the Union Leader, but again, I don't remember the reason's why. If I'm not mistaken, Dan Lussier and his family don't own the business anymore, but don't quote me on that.

If you're interested in a used Corvette there, like any other used Corvette at a dealer, have the car checked over well before purchasing.

It's my understanding which i'm wrong 9.3% of the time (wife keeps track),Dan Lussier sold to two parties four or five years ago . The two parties have seperated with the operation owned now by one person. I know of friends that have bought from Dan and had no problems. I know nothing of the other owners , check with one of the local Corvette clubs in N.H

We bought a Corvette from Corvette City about 8 years ago or so ago, but it was one that was on consignment rather than owned and being sold by Corvette City. We had no problems with them, but I have since heard whispers of some things going on that may not have been kosher. However, I don't know any details.

soggytaco,

From what I remember, Dan Lussier did in fact sell his dealership around
5 years ago. Last time I heard of him he was selling Vipers in Florida.
Classic Cars Of New England is managed partly by Mike Buker, who most
recently sold Vipers at FitzgeralMotorSports in Laconia, but many years
ago worked at Lussier's. I know him pretty well, he's a straight shooter.

I know nothing of the new Corvette City location, sorry.

Remember, there's always Corvette Mike in Plymouth Mass.
His cars are generally "top notch" to say the least.
Check out http://corvettemikenewengland.com
He might have something for you....

Good Luck,
Mark B.
