i am right in the middle of changeing out my 86 vette's inner and outer window seals. just wondering what other guys have used to mount the inner window seal onto the door panel? the old one was stapled in and i pretty much had to cut the old staples to get the old seal off.

Do a search or scroll down. Garys86 started a thread on 10/24/05 asking about window seals and got several good replies with a helpful link.

Corvette Central sells the stainless steel staples to replace the old ones. I haven't done this yet but I suspect you can insert them by hand and then bend them over and crimp them tight once they're started in the right direction.
