Inside Lights Staying on-Plz HELP!!!

Carlo is correct. The timer module does control the lights and when it goes bad the lights will stay on. There is a transistor in the module that goes bad. Basically when you open the doors a capacitor on the module charges up and turns on the transistor. When you close the door, voltage is removed from the cap and it slowly discharges to the point where it can no longer keep the transistor turned on, then the lights go off. When the transistor goes bad it completes the path to ground and the lights stay on.
If you follow the link Carlo provided you will see a picture of the timer that Ken provided.
If you like I can repair it for you, the cost being parts as I give my labor free to CAC members.

Thanks guys for the info. Eagle, I really appreciate it, and I will let you know.
So in the meantime, if I remove that timer, the lights WILL NOT stay on once the doors are closed (assuming that the timer is the problem?)

after looking at that pic-that IS what I pulled out yesterday, and the cargo/door lamps still stayed on. Did I miss something?

IT WORKED IT WORKED IT WORKED!!!
Thanks guys. Hey Eagle, if you'll email me everything I need to know, I'll send it to you.
Thanks all!!
