We had our local "Run, Drive and Fly" event here yesterday. Although the weather was not perfect, we had a pretty good turnout for the car show.
Late in the day, I was clear at the other end from where I parked 007, and I heard this young man telling his parents, "My favorite car is still the orange Corvette". I walked over to him and said, "You have great taste, young man. Let's go back down to it and I'll let you sit in it." His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. This is what car shows should be all about, inspiring the next generation of gear-heads.
