The Instrument Cluster on our 1990 Corvette is about as dim as the average politician and the digital area covering the speedometer and gas gauge is even dimmer than that.
Since we are in England and don’t want to take the car off the road for a protracted period, I’m hoping to find a used cluster which I could send to a specialist cluster rebuilder to bring it up to an as new condition.
After that, I would happily sell on my old cluster so that someone else can do the same.
My question to you all is this: Based upon your experiences, which firm would YOU pick to rebuild YOUR cluster if it needed to be done?
I have been in touch with three firms in the US and have been disappointed with the level of communication from them which has lowered my confidence in dealing with them.
So, once again, if it were YOUR cluster, who would you send it to?

Thanks,

James

I got one off of Ebay last year. The vendor was Scarabex. Cost a little over $300. He even let me pay a core charge and return my old one later for a refund. He gives a one year warranty. New bulbs, LCD's, and power supply installed. Works great and easy to deal with. :thumb
Type in Corvette dash cluster and you should find him.

How did your cluster turn out? I have a 90 as well.
